CLASSROOM NOTES & REMINDERS

Wow, September has passed us by quickly! As we finish up the last week of the month, I am reflecting back on what we have accomplished as a class. Your students have made great efforts this month to do wonderful things, including, rule creation, multiplication (factor and multiple/product), writing a response to literature, learning mapping skills, and so much more! If you missed open house, please take, a moment to chat with your child about what is going on at school. THANK YOU to all of those who were able to make it to open house, what a great time!

Last week, the multiplication homework presented many challenges for the fourth grade. With that being said, I am not worried if your child did not complete it because it became too overwhelming. We will continue to work on facts (combinations) in school, but it would be incredibly helpful if this skill is reinforced at home.

PICTURE DAY was rescheduled for tomorrow due to the rain last Tuesday.

Wednesday, 9/28, there is NO SCHOOL due to an in-service.
