Each student arrived to school and found a clipboard with a classmate scavenger hunt as well as a bookmark they made last school year on move-up day. The scavenger hunts were completed for morning work, and later in the day we shared our findings. We discovered many fun and interesting things about each other.
Our classroom on the first day, before any students arrived! My goal was to take pictures of the kids as they arrived and as we enjoyed our first day together, but I got caught up in the excitement and chaos of the first day and forgot to take the camera out again!
